Customizable Training Basic obedience is the mastery of many commands on-leash and Advanced Obedience is the mastery of many commands off-leash. Some dogs come into obedience with very little previous training and other dogs know lots of tricks and commands but need fine tuning. For this reason it wouldn’t make sense for us to offer a cookie cutter basic obedience training program. Whe you arrange your first office visit, we will review your dogs previous training experiences, your goals for your dog’s behavior, and your dog’s general temperament and level of focus. From there we will develop a customized program that will fit your and your dog’s needs. We will determine what commands and tricks your dog will learn, what type of training collar your dog will require, how long the training will take, and at what level we start. This unique approach to obedience sets the Pet Athletic Club apart from other training facilities. We offer you the flexibility to shape your dog into the dog that YOU want. The most important thing you can learn from training your dog is that you get out of it what you put in. We want to make sure you are going to be happy with what you get out of it and that you are excited about the process.
