Trainer: Mic Foster Mic Foster - Mic is the Head Trainer and owner of the Pet Athletic Club. He has been working with dogs professionally since 1998. Mic began his training career in Bloomington Indiana, while attending Indiana Univeristy. His first 3 years of experience were at a private facility owned by ex US military personel. During this time Mic learned the ins and outs of obedience, perosnal protection, patrol, bomb and narc dog training. After graduation Mic moved to Cincinnati, opened Last Resort K-9 Academy and changed his focus to training family dogs. During this time he dealt mainly with aggressive dogs, managing separation anxiety, personal protection and teaching house manners. Mic opened the Pet Athletic Club in August of 2006 to offer wider array of services to his training clients. Mic has done a number of radio, TV, and speaking engagements on the topics of dog training and behavior modification, and is in the process of writing a book on current/effective dog training methods. Mic currently enjoys doing all aspects of training and is actively particpating in the sports of PSA, French Ring, and Mondio Ring. He is also the owner of Midwest Police K-9 Academy, and the president of Southern Ohio Protection Sports. Mic regularly works with the Cincinnati Police Department K-9 Unit and a number of others throughout the country. In 2009, Mic Foster and K-9 Sylar were the Protection Sports Association Midwest Regional Champions! Mic Foster was recently awarded the Ohio Valley Tails 2009 Reader's Choice Award for Best Trainer.
