Puppy Education is a strictly positive reinforcement program. This means that anytime your dog does what she is supposed to, she is rewarded. When she does not do what she is supposed to, she is redirected and given an opportunity to succeed. This is very important in the development of confidence and helps to create a strong bond between you and your pet. Creating a strong foundation for an obedient dog with a stable temperament starts with puppy education.

It is important when teaching your dog new commands that they truly understand what they are being asked to do. To start puppy education, we use treats to lure a puppy into position and then reward them with the treat. After lots of repetition , she starts to understand what your are asking her to do. We start with hand signals and eventually attach a verbal signal since dogs read body language much more clearly than verbal language. We spend each session showing you how to lure your puppy and how to reward their behavior. We also spend lots of time helping you to overcome issues that you are having at home with your puppy such as housebreaking, crate training, and behaviors such as nipping, chewing, temper tantrums, and any others.
